Our photocopiers have enough memory to scan and save to a flash drive, but they do not have enough memory to recognize an external hard drive, which requires much more memory. If you need an electronic copy of your document, you could save it to a flash drive using the photocopier, and then later,using your computer, transfer the file to your hard drive.
