Several students who have come for research help for this class have found references in PubMed - a comprehensive international medical database with limited full-text. You can search using your own keywords, but it is best searched using the MeSH (medical subject headings) thesaurus which was created for comprehensive searching on this database. If you haven't used it before, there are several tutorials available on the PubMed website at: https://learn.nlm.nih.gov/documentation/training-packets/T0042010P/
There are two sections on this site under the 'Quick Tours' category - Search Basics (less than 20 minutes to view them all!) and 'More Searches' which altogether takes only 15 minutes to review. If you only want to learn about MeSH searching then I would recommend the second tutorial in the 'More Searches' category - "Use MeSH to Build a Better PubMed Query."
