Two databases might be good for finding information on employment and minimum wage: Academic Search Premeir or Business Sources Elite.
To find statistics on high school and college students, you could try our education databases: ERIC, or Wilson Education Full Text. The SAGE database also has education content. A good website for education statitistics is the National Center for Education Statistics: http://nces.ed.gov/
