Yes, the LexisNexis database contains newspaper sources, both national and international, and it is full text. You can access LexisNexis from the Newspapers tab on the Databases page.
I was able to find the link. The search engines do not go back to the date that I need, July 3, 1964. Can you help me get headline information for that date?

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Although we don't have any databases here that provide full text access to newspapers that go back to the 1960s, I did find a list created by a librarian at another institution of historical newspapers that are available on the Internet.
